I am always fascinated by squirrels! When we walked in parks during the Fall, we often stopped and watched squirrels hunting among the fallen leaves for nuts and seeds. They would grab some, stuff their mouth and run up trees or to hidey holes to keep their treasure for winter when they might not be able to find food any more.
This little fellow’s picture was taken by a good photographer. Squirrels sit still so little and stay as far away from people as possible. Even on that little stump he is busy nibbling his food.
Though it is cold and we’ve been indoors much more than usual, it was fun to paint this busy little squirrel. You may have a pantry full of food in case of bad weather. Do you have God’s word stored up in your heart? This cold weather may be a great time for you to dig into the Bible, feed at God’s rich table, and hide His Word in your heart.
