As its name indicates, this iris can grow from Alaska and Canada down to Maine. It is the hardiest of all the Iris plants. This is a tutorial I did along with Anna Mason. The depth of color is so fascinating to me.
I think of the hope God gives us in dark, cold seasons of our life. Without hope in His care and provision, it would be hard to survive some of the trials we can encounter. But with His hope, we know we are growing and gaining strength, and preparing for the time of fruitfulness that will come. We should band together and support those we know who are in a cold, lonely time in their life.
