This was a giant Sycamore leaf I photographed on a walking trail. I fell in love with its color and form. One day I’ll do this in watercolor, but for now I delight in its form.
I know it is a dead leaf. It was probably crushed later that day by a walker who didn’t stop to look at it. Why should he stop and look at this one? It was only one of hundreds of leaves on the ground.
Our God keeps an eye on each one of us. We may feel like we are just one of hundreds and not worth special notice. But God loves and cares for those who love Him. As we spend time with God we will stand out from the crowd.
