This beautiful bird breeds in southern Europe, Central Asia, and China, but only above 4,500 ft in rocky clefts. After a long migration, It winters south of the Sahara Desert in Africa. Then makes the long trek back north to raise a new brood.
Migrations always amaze me. How do these small birds know it is time to fly and which direction to fly and for how long? God gave them the sense to do this as well as he gave them their pretty feathers.
Our God cares about the small things in creation. He cares even more about our lives. Jesus said, “And the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.” Let’s remember to thank Him for His provision and care of us.
